Vocation Exploration Circles

Providing students with tools and understanding for discovering their vocation.

Vocation Exploration Circles are small groups designed to give BU undergraduate students discernment tools and space for vocational discovery over a 6-week period.  These circles are offered each semester as part of the Vocation Exploration Initiative, a program of Protestant Campus Ministry at Bloomsburg University (PCM) and generously funded by a grant from the Lilly Endowment Inc.
These 1 ½ hour weekly sessions will be facilitated by the campus minister, a local pastor, or other campus partners.

Discussions and activities will encourage students to:
  • Ask questions to gain insight about their life purpose.
  • Learn methods for discerning calling.
  • Reflect as a group and individually.
  • Gain support and resources for taking the next steps in vocation exploration.

The curriculum draws from the Christian tradition.  However, students of all backgrounds and beliefs, religious or non-religious, are welcome.
If you are interested in participating in our Vocation Exploration Circle or Workshops contact Pastor Kelly, kross@bloomu.edu.
